A body of a 9-year-old girl was discovered inside a bag in Haryana’s Rohtak on Monday.
The body in the bag was found thrown in an open drain, news agency ANI has reported.
The police have reached the spot and started the initial investigation.
The incident comes on a day when the trial of Kathua gangrape-murder will begun in Jammu on Monday.
In that case, an eight-year-old was held captive, sedated, brutally gangraped and then murdered in January earlier this year.
