We visit Airlie Beach - Whitsunday Islands - Kurrimine Beach

Описание: On this week’s episode, we stay at the King Reef Resort in Kurrimine Beach. It’s a beautiful spot right on the water.

We catch up with an old Friend of Liz’s, and she takes us to Babinda Kayaking. They hire out kayaks for you to paddle down the river at your own pace and then come and pick you up when you’re ready.

We tried our luck at Etty Bay trying to spot a Cassowary…..

On our last morning in Kurrimine beach, we got up early to watch a beautiful sunrise!

And then on our drive to Airlie Beach, we stop in at the The Big Mango in Bowen. You can’t just drive past without stopping.

In Airlie beach, we went for a stroll on the Turtle Boardwalk and then drive out to Cedar Creek Falls. There were no falls at Cedar Creek, and there was a sign saying there had been a croc sighting in the last week, and the water was murky…. So, we decided to head back into town and have a swim at the Lagoon instead.

Maggie goes plane spotting at the airport, and we have a great dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant.

And you can’t be on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef and not go snorkelling. So, Liz booked us in on the Camira for a 10 hour cruise. We got dropped of on Whitsunday Island and checked out Whitehaven Beach, before going for a snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef.
