Flipside: NO WONDER I LOVE YOU – Here’s another really great and “very rare” unknown ballad from my music collection. Jamie/Guyden traces its history to 1954 with their first releases on Guyden Records.

Jamie and Guyden Records were first distributed by Gone and End Records, the labels of one of Rock’n’Roll’s earliest entrepreneurs, George Goldner. Without really getting into the weeds with all of this, End, Gone, Jamie and Guyden Record companies released some of the “GREATEST” music ever recorded. Sooo many acts, too many to list and way too much history about all of it to type. LOL.

Universal Record Distributing Corp. was founded in 1955 as a regional distributor for the area of Philadelphia, eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware and was perhaps the first distributor that started the new “Rock’n’Roll” era.

“HOW SWEET” by The Pacers was rereleased again on (Jason Scott #1) 1980, a subsidiary of Crystal Ball Records.
