The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have given their kids new names as part of a recent rebranding exercise. Prince Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Princess Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor are now called Archie and Lilibet Sussex.
Since the coronation, people have been calling the kids Sussexes, just like how Prince Harry was known as Captain Wales in the military. This choice breaks a tradition from 1960 that said future heirs of Queen Elizabeth II should be named Mountbatten-Windsor.
Harry and Meghan got some criticism for changing their website from Archewell.com to Sussex.com, showing their royal history. The webpage has links to the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions, and their Sussex Royal site. This happened after they stopped using the "Sussex Royal" title in 2020, as it caused issues at Buckingham Palace. After leaving the royal family, they kept their Duke and Duchess titles but not HRH.
