It's the start of Organic Beauty Week today which is a campaign run by the UK's leading organic certifier and charity, the Soil Association. As part of Organic September, they're encouraging everyone to "look for the logo" on beauty products so you know they truly are organic and have been certified at a very high standard. The beauty industry currently has no set standards in order for it to be able to call itself organic and can get away with only using 1% organic ingredients to be able to put it on the label so the soil association have set a bunch of standards and criteria that beauty brands must do in order to get their logo.
