Описание: My grandmothers are a strange little pair. I always thought of them as matriarch elephants, because in an elephant community, it's always the oldest female that leads the group, not the males. So it always made me wonder.
These two ladies are hands-down the best storytellers I have ever had the privilege of listening to in my life. I hope that, one day, at least, maybe when I'm their age, if I can, through genetics, earn at least 1/3 of their storytelling skills, I will be happy.
Even though years and years of quarrels and misunderstandings have happened between the two, it's very evident to me that the little girls in them come out every time they see each other, and all four eyes get swollen up with tears. I've seen it happen just from them hearing their voices over the phone after a long time.

Without a doubt, that's love. They lay down conditions, they spend months without talking to each other sometimes, but they will never give each other up, come what may, gun to their heads.
Like all love, it's complicated, but it's love nonetheless.
I do feel guilty most days of not having spent enough time with them, the older I get, the harder this realization hits.
Because at the end of the day, we're not here to work or we're not here for "a greater purpose." Maybe we're here, so that while we're here, we laugh, we live, we share stories, and we love. And maybe, just maybe, that's enough.
