CAB COMPARISONS - 4x12 vs 2x12 vs 1x12

Описание: The second video in this series - we're trying to see what the differences in sound are between 4, 2 and 1 speaker combinations, and how much difference it makes.
The amp is a Peavey Windsor 120W EL34, and the mics used are an sE R1 ribbon and Shure SM57.

The Orange and the Zilla have a Celestion V30 in front of the mics, and the 1x12 is a custom build that I found on a Facebook group, with a Celestion Creamback M 65W in. I may try and do another video in the future with a V30 on the 112 cab just to prove the point.

It seems they're quite different sounding, partly because of construction methods, and partly because with less speakers, the amp is driving more wattage through each speaker, getting them moving and getting that big sound that we like!
