BRAVE(브레이브) / Rain Song

Описание: 그동안 한국 드라마 음악씬에서 만나왔던 음악감독 BRAVE의 개인 음반이 드디어 시동을 걸고 첫 Mini 음반을 발매한다.
이번 수록곡은 총 4곡으로 그동안 해왔던 영상음악의 느낌을 과감히 버리고 감상할 수 있는 음악을 목표로 준비해온 음악들 중 4곡을 먼저 엄선했다.
기존의 작곡 방식은 영상을 보며 만들거나, 시놉을 보면서 등장인물과 상황을 염두에 두며 음악을 만들었지만, 이 음악들은 그런 방식이 아닌, 일상에서 느끼는 개인적인 감성을 음악으로 표현하며 음악을 만들었다.
네오클래식과 뉴에이지, 재즈를 넘나드는 그의 기존 음악들과 궤를 같이 하지만 좀 더 친숙하고 기억에 남을 수 있는 멜로디를 차용해 좀 더 대중친화적인 연주 음악을 만들었다.

Rain Song (3:13)
어릴 적 비 오는 날 동네 공원에서 친구와 그네에 앉아 비 내리는 모습을 바라보던 때를 음악으로 표현했다. 피아노의 선율이 마치 우산에 부딪히는 듯한 느낌이 들고, 스트링은 비 오는 날의 쓸쓸함을 표현한다. 특히 우크렐레 부분은 철없던 어린 날을 표현하고, 현재 나이가 들어서도 공원에 앉아 그날을 기억하는 자신의 모습을 음악의 후반부에 그려냈다.

Renowned for his work in the Korean drama music scene, music director BRAVE is finally stepping into his personal project with the release of his first mini album.
This album features four carefully selected tracks, marking a departure from his previous approach to film scores.
Unlike his previous works, which were composed with specific scenes, characters, and narratives in mind, these songs are deeply personal reflections of emotions felt in everyday life.
While still rooted in his signature neo-classical, new age, and jazz influences, the melodies in this album are more approachable and memorable, creating a more listener-friendly instrumental experience.

Rain Song (3:13)
Inspired by childhood memories of sitting on a swing with a friend, watching the rain fall in a neighborhood park, this piece evokes nostalgia. The piano mimics the sound of raindrops hitting an umbrella, while the strings express the bittersweet solitude of a rainy day. The ukulele represents the carefree innocence of youth, and as the song progresses, it transitions to a more reflective tone—depicting an older self, reminiscing about those very moments.
