How to update Perkons for chromatic play

Firmware update 1.1 for Erica Synths' Perkons has brought many improvements. The two most notable are the ability to play each voice chromatically and the ability to have the optional hits on the last bar rather than the first. Here I go through the update procedure and the config page options to enable the new features. At the end I get distracted and start faffing about with a dronescape.
