This is not an everyday routine, but a cozy evening at home while my husband was traveling back from work.

In this video, I:

Cook a comforting beef stew

Bake banana muffins using a unique recipe (custard powder, separated eggs & lemon juice)

Make homemade buns/scones with a golden egg yolk finish
Share how I make DIY cupcake pockets using parchment paper

Wash dishes, remove baked goods from the oven & butter fresh buns

Show what my husband brought home (maize/corn, butternut & potatoes)

Roast and mash butternut for dinner

Plate our final meal: rice, beef stew & butternut

Clean the kitchen, sweep floors & reset the space

End the night with baby bath time and my own bath
