Описание: This is a beautifully small and elegant George III Writing Slope, c.1810. The Box is Mahogany, brassbound with flush military handles to the sides of the box. The box is in fabulous condition, it has a patent lock and has a key for decorative proposes, but unfortunately although the lock is working due to the complexity of the lock we cannot cut a key for it! There is a pen slope and contemporary inks wells. Open the box to reveal a wonderful original letter rack with a beautiful coloured wood, beautiful little sliders that come down to lock it, the box has a panel to the inside that lifts out and has a pressure point for secret drawers. To access the drawers you have to press in the far right bottom down with a firm push in the corner, you will then discover three little original secret draws that have hardly ever been used. It’s in beautiful condition it has been re-polished and re-leathered, without any damage. The box measures: 38cm by 25cm and it stands 13cm high.
