How does the Respeaker 2 Mic Pi Hat Even Work?

Описание: We finally have our Raspberry Pi Zero WH powered up and connected successfully to our ReSpeaker 2-Mic Pi Hat, but how does the ReSpeaker actually get data from the Microphones into the Raspberry Pi. Luckily we have a RTO2044 Oscilloscope we can use to see all the signals. It seems the Respeaker uses a WM8960 Audio Codec that sports both a Digital to Analog Converter and an Analog to Digital Converter. We also take a quick look at the new terminal program we're using to SSH with our Raspberry Pi, Bitvise SSH Client. I like it because it can find the Raspberry Pi with just the hostname so I don't have to track down an IP address.
