Delhi is getting a completely new look as preparations accelerate for the BRICS 2026 Summit. In this driving journey, we take you through some of the major roads and corridors being prepared, beautified and upgraded ahead of this major international event.

🚗 In today’s ground-reality drive, we start near Hyatt Hotel and the Outer Ring Road, where you can see beautiful roadside landscaping, freshly painted walls, decorative artwork, fountains and impressive white lion sculptures.

From there, we drive towards Moti Bagh, showcasing the greenery, road improvements, landmarking work, metro infrastructure and the new paint/artwork being added around the corridor.

Then we move towards NH-48 and the Airport/Aerocity side, one of the most important routes for international visitors and delegates arriving in Delhi. We show the wider roads, road quality, airport connectivity, Aerocity developments and the ongoing beautification work along the route.

Our journey continues towards Dwarka, where some stretches are already looking transformed while other sections are still under work. We also explore the fountains, landscaping, road improvements and landmarking work that is still progressing.

From Dwarka, we continue through the beautiful and green Sardar Patel Marg, before heading towards Connaught Place and Bharat Mandapam — the main venue for the BRICS Leaders’ Summit.

Through most of its history, Delhi has served as a capital of various kingdoms and empires. It has been captured, ransacked and rebuilt several times, particularly during the medieval period, and modern Delhi is a cluster of a number of cities spread across the metropolitan region.
