Always fun to see a swirly whirl of clouds in the Pacific - literally the spinning center of the storm that's bringing widespread rain to California.
BUT this is just the first in a series of storms that will impact the Bay Area over the next several days. Although it won't be a washout New Year's Day, you'll definitely need the umbrella. It's going to be a very active start to 2026, so keep that umbrella handy through at least mid next week!
