Gheos — How to Play 🎲 and Why It's a Gem 💎

Описание: Gheos! However you pronounce it (I attempt the Dutch way, as the designer René Wiersma might), it's a grassy tile-layer that might give off "triangular Carcassonne" vibes. Anyone sitting down and expecting a peaceful expansionist game, however, needs to be warned! Players don't own the colours, instead we own "shares" in the civilizations that rise and, very often, fall. You can replace tiles, which will cause civs to migrate and come into conflict with each other. "Invest" too heavily in one civ and your opponents will try to wipe it off the map. It's in the same vein as classics like Acquire or Tigris & Euphrates, but it's a unique and challenging game all its own.

As a fun side game, watch my shirt and how it changes after every arm-cross. Rambo becomes a sort of squinting Clint Eastwood at 18:55, and gradually gets Muppefied from there. Editing after 24:34 was a challenge because I couldn't stop laughing.
