Cinnamon Sugar Monkey Bread

Описание: Not much of a baker? You can still make this gooey pull-apart cinnamon monkey bread. No fancy skills required. Soft, buttery, and coated in cinnamon sugar with a vanilla glaze, everyone will be asking you for the recipe.

Ingredients:

Dough:
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup warm NOT HOT milk (about 100–110°F)
• 3 tbsp melted butter
• 1 egg
Coating & Filling:
• ½ cup melted butter (for dipping)
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• ½ brown sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon
Glaze:
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 1–2 tbsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla (or measure with your heart)

How to make it:
1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, 2 tablespoon of the sugar, and yeast. Stir and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. In the same large bowl add your melted butter, egg, salt and flour.
3. Knead for 5–7 minutes (by hand or mixer) until smooth and elastic.
4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 45–60 minutes until doubled.
5. Punch down dough. Tear into 1-inch balls (they don’t need to be perfect)
6. Dip each ball in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mix (brown + white sugar and cinnamon). Layer them into a greased bundt pan as you go, and pour any leftover butter and cinnamon sugar over the top to make it extra gooey.
7. Cover and let rise 20 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F.
8. Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and cooked through.
9. Cool 5 minutes, flip onto a plate, and drizzle with glaze. Serve warm.
