Описание: The results of the European Parliament’s 2024 post-electoral Eurobarometer are out now. The survey looks at citizens' voting behaviour in the recent European elections.

It finds that Europeans are optimistic about the future of the EU and continue to hold a positive impression of the EU and the European Parliament.
EU membership is viewed favourably, with seven in ten Europeans believing that their country has benefited from it, a figure that has been stable in recent years.

Rising prices, the cost of living and the economic situation were the main topics motivating people to vote in June's European elections.
Among the other topics that drove people to vote were the international situation, defending democracy and the rule of law, with each being indicated by a third of respondents.
