This isn't one for the classic car enthusiasts, or perhaps it is? The Land Rover Freelander 1 is widely considered (by me) as one of the worst cars ever made, and without doubt the worst car to ever grace the green oval badge!
However, 3 months and 3,000 miles into ownership and something strange has happened - I think I quite like it! In fact, I think I prefer it to my Toyota Hilux!
An honest and frank overview of what it's been like to live with a TD4 Freelander 1, purchased for less than £1,000, and how I find it fits in very well with the current Fuel Up Classic line up.
Also, a reminder to check your vehicle tax amount and do a HPI check before purchasing! Both things I didn't do with this one!
It's turned out that the the car I never wanted has actually been exactly the car I needed.
