War!
The battlefield awaits
Another wave to sacrifice
For victory or death

Between the trenches
The victims wildly charge
voiceless souls damned to face
machine-gun wrath

And they fall one by one
Ruthlessly mowed down
Crippled, maimed, torn apart
Bleeding on the ground

The massacre unfolds
Till none has left alive
The enemy awaits another
As we prepare to die

Reek of burning flesh
fills the chilly air
It poisons my heart
with fear and despair
My shaking cold hands
grip the loaded gun
All hopes to stay alive
now are almost gone

Like venomous eruption
We storm the enemy
An act of self-destruction
in blind ferocity
A hail of bleeding flesh
men dying all around
And hopeless to survive
I embrace the ground

Falling down and crawling through the mud

As silence calms the night
I creep forth in the haze
with purpose to avenge
Those inside the countless
graves

And behold the beast of war
with fire in his eyes
On his throne - the battlefield
