One Man ("Ode" to Trump!)

Описание: This song was written in January 2017 upon news of the newly crowned president of the United States of Amerikkka. Please note this song would have been written in "honour" of Clinton had she won the Presidential election for, alas, she is after all a similarly exemplary criminal corporate puppet and Trump is only doing what she could barely have DREAMT of doing!

"One Man (Ode to Trump)" by The Beelievers
Composed / arranged / produced: P Sawbridge

One man, child's decree
Assumes the mantle of Presidency
One man, we plead to you
Please do not do the things you're gonna do
With one hand on your heart
Why feel we so blue?

One man, blonde and tanned
Envisions giant walls across the land
Can that man so aggrieved
Dictate the course of our humanity?
With one hand on his heart
Two feet in the rising sea

(Middle 8 with 'Mexican Wall' trumpets!)

We are of but one world
Must we sustain such blows of hate unfurled?
Mountain deep rivers high
Who'll stop this cataclysmic ecocide?
With one hand on our hearts
Nature girds her fight
Ohhh ho ho oh,
with one hand on his heart
Is this Armageddon's Bride?

The Corporates serve themselves with pride
Waging war and genocide
The tipping points are rising high
As we're hurled t'ward ecocide
