For most healthcare professionals, providing healthcare services often feels like a calling. This feeling was no different for Dr. Richard Ogunlusi, who truly felt called into the healthcare profession after a major setback at the 300-level in medical school.
The call he received will soon become the defining moment for what is to come in his future practice which has now spanned over two decades. He joined Obafemi Awolowo University Health Center as a medical officer and rose through the ranks until he became the Chief Medical Officer.
In this Leadership Blueprint podcast, I had an interesting and engaging conversation with Dr. Richard Ogunlusi about fulfilling your call and purpose as a physician, we discussed healing, miracles and the possible way forward for the healthcare services in Nigeria could be reorganized to become accessible to every citizen.
