Our focus on African Aviation continues, this time still on the budget carrier, FastJet. In contrast to most of the other large scale jet carriers on the continent, FastJet runs a fleet of mostly Airbus planes, and not the Boeings commonly found elsewhere.
In addition to that, the currencies in the markets in which it operates, from Tanzania, to Malawi, to South Africa and Zambia, have all depreciated against the Dollar. So how does the carrier adapt? That's a question CCTV's Ramah Nyang put to General Manager for East Africa, Jimmy Kibati.
