We built this Medium Wheel Base MAN TGE for a client who works offshore and spends his time back on land maximizing outdoor time with his son.
The Off-Road Spec: This isn't just for show. It features a Project 4x4 50mm lift kit , Rogue Alloy wheels wrapped in BFG KO2s, and a WARN Evo 10,000lb winch integrated directly into the chassis .
The Space Solution: Being an MWB, we didn't have the luxury of the Long Wheel Base floor plan. To comfortably sleep four, we installed a pop-top roof, instantly doubling the sleeping capacity without increasing the vehicle's footprint.
The Gear Logic: The garage had to swallow two mountain bikes and seven fishing rods. We engineered a slide-out tray for the bikes and a bespoke transverse hook system for the rods to maximize every millimeter of storage.
It’s a prime example of how aggressive exterior styling (like wider tyres) forces necessary upgrades (like wheel arch extensions) to keep the vehicle legal!
