In general –

What is stream API in java
It represents sequence of objects derived from source (Arrays, Collection, I/O Resources etc.)
It is used to process the data from various sources like Arrays, Collection, I/O Resources
Stream Api is divided into two parts: -
1. Sequential stream
2. Parallel Stream
Operation on Stream: -
1. Intermediate Operation (filter (), map(), sorted(), distinct( etc..)
2. Terminal Operation ( forEach(), collect(), reduce() , count() etc. )
