In October 2017, Eastern Health was awarded the designation of Accredited with Commendation, one of the highest stamps of approval from Accreditation Canada.
The health authority scored a 97 per cent compliance rate with national standards of excellence in health care.
President and CEO David Diamond talks about what that means for employees - and to the care that patients, residents and clients receive every day.
*Please note that since this interview was recorded, Eastern Health's standing was upgraded to Accredited with Exemplary Standing, the highest designation awarded by Accreditation Canada.
