An introduction to my current camera mod project: putting a 60-year-old German lens onto a Fuji Instax camera.
Fuji Instax cameras are fun but the Wide 300 has a few things I'd like to change:
-I'd like to have control over the aperture and set the f stops
-I'd like to focus the lens myself (I think the Instax is more or less focus free, okay it has TWO whole settings)
-I'd like to control the shutter
To do that I gutted out a brand new Instax Wide (what was I thinking) and have spent the last few days trying to figure out how to make the mod.
MORE importantly, I want to show you how to do it, the simplest way I can figure out. It will take a few tries but...let's go.
Still in progress.

And here is the step by step of how it is assembled in its current configuration of parts.
