First part of the mission to Central Italy, my first fishing series on this channel

In Northern Italy temperatures started to drop so I moved to Central Italy to find warmer waters and active fish
In this first part we go to a coastal lake with brackish water with presence of many predatory species such as pikes, bass, sea bass, and afterwards we move to a system of canals
My target as usual was to catch a giant bass, so I started bass fishing with a few different approaches for dirty water. I was throwing Black and Blue Texas rigs, Black and Red Spinnerbaits, Black and White Chatterbaits

While I was throwing the Chatterbait I bumped into a structure and straight after that my line was stopped by a giant fish! I totally did not expect it!
It was so big and felt so weird that I thought I might have snagged a big fish of some sort or I might have hooked into a big pike
Water clarity was super low so I could not see the giant fish at the end of my line. For a second before netting it I thought it was a huge bass, but as soon as it was in the net I realised it was a giant sea bass!!!

I definitely did not expect to catch a giant sea bass on the Chatterbait! Plus, it was my first ever sea bass on lures and a new personal best!

Second day in the canals was a bit of a miss unluckily. I fished a lot of different spots. They all looked great but I did not manage to find any active predator
