"Historic Route March on the RSS Centenary"(University of Jammu)
The Swami Vivekananda Student Branch of the University of Jammu celebrated the 100th foundation day of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) within the university campus. Following this, student volunteers conducted a route march (path-sanchalan) in the university premises. This march became the first-ever path-sanchalan held in an educational institution (university) in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
It reflects the increasing connection of youth and students in educational institutions with the RSS, as well as the growing strength and popularity of the organization. A total of 130 volunteers participated in full uniform.
The chief speaker at the event was Shri Mukesh Ji, the Prant Pracharak (regional head) of Jammu and Kashmir, and the chief guest was Shri B. S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu.
In his address, Shri Mukesh Ji highlighted the 100-year history of the RSS, its role in Jammu and Kashmir, five key changes for social transformation, and the dedication and sacrifices of four generations over the century-long journey of the organization.
