Yet another piece to my next build has Arrived!!! The Power in the Puzzle🧩 is Here & Yes it had to Be GREEN💚. Green isn't just my favorite color, it's also the color of everything Power Related in the Build. Everything from the Alternator to the Wires & Amplifier will be Green this time. Neon Green at that💚🤗💚!!!
After a lot of hours researching the many Amps on the market I finally found the one to fit my next application. I looked at many Amplifiers these last few months, everything from Deaf Bonce, Incriminator, Avatar, Sundown Audio, SKAR, DS18, Crescendo, Orion, and Yes Down4Sound. I finally settled on the 1 that fit all the Parameters I felt I needed, & it's the color I wanted!!!
On Dynos with the proper voltage(14.4) these amps were actually producing over 3000watts with ease, 3200 to be exact. And being that my Next Subwoofer Eats 3000watts(RMS) like it ain't nothing this bad boi should be able to keep it Happy. I'm only running a Single Sub setup due to the limited Trunk space in the Acura TSX's so I needed a REAL Heavy Hitter that doesn't play around & can hit the Lowest of lows while bringing enough bass to & Sound to look like 2 gorillas battling it out in my trunk. I'll be Running a Single Avatar STU 3412 @1ohm & giving it the full beans at all times. It wants 3000+Watts & it's Gonna get 3000+Watts all the time!!! That 4" Voice Coil should love this Amp no doubt!!! Check out Wilson Audio Labs on YouTube to see how much this Amplifier is capable of Producing. He runs it on the dynos & gets Real numbers!!!
As I stated up top this Amplifier is Power Hungry so your really gonna need to upgrade your factory Electrical to be able to support this Amp. Infact the warranty is worthless if your Running stock everything, a Big3️⃣ & Battery at the least is Required. For my setup I'm leaving nothing to chance, a Upgraded Alternator is definitely in the works(240-370amp) as well a 0gauge Big3️⃣, probably dual runs of 0gauge going back to the Amp, & a XS power battery under the Hood. This won't be the only Amp in the set up so im gonna need all the Power I Can Get!!!
At some in the future I may upgrade to the JP34 which makes over 3800watts with ease, but for now the JP23v2 fits the bill perfectly.
