✨ Yellow Brick Road Chinatown – A Food Journey Worth Taking ✨
After wandering through the bustling streets of Chinatown, we stumbled upon Yellow Brick Road, a café tucked inside Four Points by Sheraton Hotel KL. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting—modern yet cozy, with a vibe that instantly made us want to stay longer.
We kicked off our meal with the PRAWN PESTO TAGLIATELLE 🍝. The pasta was al dente, the pesto fragrant, and the prawns added a juicy bite that elevated the dish. It was light yet satisfying, a perfect way to begin.
Next came the RENDANG NACHOS 🌶️, a creative fusion that surprised us. The crunchy nachos paired with the rich, spiced rendang created layers of flavor that were bold, comforting, and distinctly Malaysian. It was a dish that stood out for its originality.
The ASSAM FISH RICE BOWL 🐟 followed, and it was pure comfort food. The fish was tender, the rice fluffy, and the assam sauce brought a sourish tang that balanced everything beautifully. It was hearty, filling, and exactly the kind of dish you crave when you want something wholesome.
Then came the highlight of the evening—the desserts. The ONDE ONDE MOCHI PANCAKE 🥥✨ was unlike anything we’ve tried before. Soft, fluffy pancake filled with chewy mochi, infused with pandan, and topped with coconut—it was a delightful Malaysian twist that felt both nostalgic and inventive.
We also indulged in the TIRAMISU 🍰, which was creamy, decadent, and had just the right balance of coffee and sweetness. Alongside it, the ICE CREAM 🍨 offered a refreshing finish, simple yet satisfying.
What impressed us most was how each dish had its own personality. Some were comforting, some adventurous, and some purely indulgent. Together, they created a dining experience that felt complete and memorable.
The service was warm and attentive, with staff who made us feel welcome and guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. It added to the overall charm of the visit.
The café itself is versatile—you could come here for a full meal, a quick snack, or simply a drink to cool down after exploring Chinatown. It’s the kind of place that works for both casual hangouts and special foodie adventures.
