Wargasm - World Wide War Web - North America - mission 1

Описание: North America, or rather - the United States - is the hardest level in Wargasm. It would be better to have russian equipment, but if i make Russia first, one of the missions will crash the game and i won't be able to complete it. Therefore, I have to finish it as first. Future LBT will do the job, but i will have to maneuver around and use some tactics.

In North America we have to deal with A-10 airstrikes again - we also meet a special type of attack plane - B2 bomber. It's interesting, but it isn't very dangerous. Preventing airstrikes is necessary to finish those missions with as few loses as possible.

Future MBT is easily the best tank in the game - they are heavily armored and railgun is their main weapon. They have 50 bullets of it and are often placed in pairs. The best way to deal with them is to flank them with Future LBT and fire 3 railgun charges right into their rear armor. Using A-10 airstrikes is viable as well, but they can be shot down by their hail of bullets. For some reason, they fire very accurately, even while moving and can hit player from extreme range.

Future Comanches are armed with hellfires - guided missiles. Every chopper has 8 of them, and it's not possible anymore to just rush a base with a hellicopter and win the game quickly. They are also dangerous for our attack planes - to some degree, player can outmaneuver those rockets with some flying skills, which can be seen in the next videos.

LVTP-7 apc isn't a threat, however. It has a weird camouflage - it cannot be seen from a distance. I wonder if it's a bug in rendering or an intended behavior. I think that name stands for Landing Vehicle Tracked Personnel.

In this mission, we need to destroy one base and protect our own. I placed AA vehicles in the corners to protect my units from possible airstrikes. Soldiers with hellfire missiles are great against Future MBTs, because they use only machine guns against them, instead of much more dangerous railgun.

Naturally, they are quite useful against the Future Comanches as well.
