As a process engineer, my role is to tease out those gaps, prioritize in order of importance (impact vs. effort) and facilitate innovation that can improve and transform a future state process. Today, I'm going to review my process modelling methodology and break down the AsIs current state process into 5 easy steps.

1. List the major workflow headers
2. Breakdown critical process steps
3. Identify Value Added Steps
4. Focus / classify gaps, improvement opportunities or solutions in place
5. Assign those gaps to the particular process steps
