For fifty years, Mark Schwartz has quietly shaped the musical landscape of our community -one instrument, one student, one repair at a time. From his workshop, he has provided young musicians with their first fine instruments, helped professionals adjust their instruments to play beautifully, and rescued countless violins, violas, cellos and basses
from disaster. He has generously shared his craft with apprentices and students alike. Mark's devotion to precision, his artistry with wood and varnish, and his gentle mentoring
have touched the lives of musicians throughout Southeast Michigan. Join us for a special
