The visit was said to be a courtesy call since the Union Minister's son, Jay Shah, is the former cricketer's colleague as Honorary Secretary in the Board of Control for Cricket in India, or BCCI. Her husband was beaten to death with an iron road on a busy road in Hyderabad and a crowd couldn't save him, though she begged for help. Syed Ashrin Sulthana later told the police the killers were her brother and his friends. She wants them brought to justice.
