This one's a big more of a minimalist theme carried mostly by percussion (lots of malletts, shells, wood blocks etc.) and gutteral chanting (ala Marquesas & Cook Islands) with some subtle changes in instrumentation. Yeah, I know I've used some of those samples before, but there's only so many sources for this sort of thing and only so many choices that work for a Polynesian location.
There's a few new synth sections (most notably around the "39 days" section) and I though the slightly techy vibe worked with the casting theme of the season.
