This video goes over the BRAND NEW changes coming to everyone's favorite neck piece, The Elemental Lariat, in patch 10.1 Embers of Neltharion.

Blizzard knew the Neck's power was out of control. The way they decided to reign it in was to reduce the procs duration to 5s baseline and have it increase 1s per elemental gem you have equipped.

With a character full of gems, the Lariat's effect goes back up to what it was previously at 12s

This means that at the start of the patch, we'll actually be able to find use in the neck pieces that drop from Mythic Plus and Raids.

This also means we'll have a free embellishment slot to fill with either a brand new piece of embellishment gear being added in this patch, or an embellishment from the previous tier such as Fang Adornments, Blue Silken Lining, Blazing Cowl etc...
