Gnossienne No. 1 Cello Version - Erik Satie

Описание: With four cellos only I created this Gnossienne No. 1 cello version. I think with only strings it brought out even more "airiness" from the piece. Really like the result and happy that I can present it to you today. Haven't seen anyone else do it before with only strings so thought it was time!


The Gnossiennes are several piano compositions written by the French composer Erik Satie in the late 19th century, first published in 1893. The pieces are for the most part in free time, lacking time signatures or bar divisions, and highly experimental with form, rhythm and chordal flow. The name and form was invented by Satie as well.
