Rhino Charge held a pre-event briefing at Braeburn School in Nairobi. Competitor teams, checkpoint officers, officials, sponsors, camp operators, and families attended the event.
Since its inception in 1989, the Rhino Charge has raised nearly $160 million (KeS 2.1 billion) for conservation efforts in Mount Kenya, Aberdares, South Western Mau, Mount Eburu, and Kakamega Forest.
Main events for this year's Rhino Charge:
Friday, 31st May– Scrutineering (inspection of Competing Cars)
Saturday, 1st June – Rhino Charge
Sunday, 2nd June – Prize-giving
