In today's session, we help you to create torque and rotational energy in your forehand by separating your lower and upper body.
Torque refers to the rotational force or twisting force that acts on an object. In the context of a forehand, torque is generated by the player's body and transmitted through the arm and racket to the ball.
Torque helps generate power and spin in the shot.
To create torque in a forehand stroke it is necessary to rotate your body against the platform created by your legs.
Initiate the stroke by rotating your hips and shoulders, transferring energy from the lower body to the upper body. As the arm swings forward, you will apply torque by twisting the wrist and forearm, which amplifies the racket's speed and generates spin.

Moment of Force: The moment of force, also known as torque, is a measure of the rotational effect of a force around a specific point or axis. In the context of a tennis forehand, the moment of force is the rotational force exerted on the racket about the player's hand or wrist.
The moment of force depends on various factors, such as the force applied, the distance from the axis of rotation (wrist), and the angle at which the force is applied. By applying force at the appropriate angle and distance from the wrist, players can maximize the moment of force and generate a powerful forehand.
