Finally got round doing London's Infamous 139 bus route!
The 139 is operated by Metroline Travel from Cricklewood [W] Garage using Gemini 3 B5LH's & Enviro400MMC's. The route is a well-known popular one that goes from Golders Green, Child's Hill, West Hampstead, South Hampstead, Kilburn, St John's Wood, Baker Street, Marylebone, Mayfair, Bond Street, Oxford Circus, Soho, Piccadilly Circus, St James's, Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross, Convent Garden, Aldwych & then Waterloo!!!

The route is a really lovely route that I finally got round doing. I wanted an Enviro400MMC, but that left 3 mins before I arrived at Golders Green after doing the 134 to Warren Street. Then, a VWH came which I didn't want nor get as I have had past terrible experiences filming on those buses and those buses don't really suit the 139 compared to the MMC's, so I decided to wait an extra 15 minutes for this in total! The MMC's give the route a brilliant vibe which was why I was very happy that Metroline kept this route as the MMC's were nice as they moved from withdrawn route 332. However, RATP did do a good job between 2017-2020, but they were all the way up at Edgware [BT] Garage so yeah!

Beforehand, Metroline did have the route from the same garage prior to 2017 with Enviro400H's and that's where it ran between West Hampstead & Waterloo, but then it was extended from there to Golders Green and then 13 was extended from Golders Green to North Finchley as a part of the revised April 2017 13/82 changes, which resulted in the sad withdrawal of the 82!

I really enjoyed filming this route. But - there was some unknown diversion which I was extremely annoyed about as I checked the status and it stated that there were "No reported disruptions". I felt as if something was wrong myself lol from that left turn. It was a mini diversion which caused the video to miss the actual Trafalgar Square bus stop [B], It was quite nice to go around and get the plaza in, but TFL do better. It was also my first time passing through Piccadilly Circus in a visual which was very nice, even the Oxford Street section, but then it felt long. The driver safely drove through the broken red light a-bit as the lights were taking too long to change at Soho but he was nice in the end as he waved at Waterloo Station!
