We are renovating an old farmhouse in the south of France and this week we install a second hand solar thermal system on our roof.
What was supposed to be a simple one day project turned into drilling through our own copper pipe, roof leaks, rebuilding connections and redoing the plumbing.
Meanwhile we continue building raised brick planters inside our greenhouse and finally bought our first plants and trees.
Solar heating, copper pipe plumbing, greenhouse build, DIY renovation in France, this week had it all.
