THE MEANING OF SILENCE

The first silence is missing:
In a world overwhelmed by noise, arguments, and information, we have lost the stillness necessary to hear the whisper of God. The divine still speaks — but gently.
We, however, drown it in the clamor of our own making.

The second silence is too much:
It belongs to a Church that no longer speaks with courage, that avoids answering, that closes its gates to dialogue.
This is not the holy silence of contemplation — but the dangerous silence of absence, confusion, and forgetting.

The “keys” carried by the Church represent both power and burden. They can open hearts — or lock them out.
And every voice that is shut out… becomes a cry into the void.
