Glarry Electric Violin - Is a cheap £40 Ebay electric violin any good?

This video looks at the Electric version of the same violin and once again shows me setting the instrument up for playing, as these violins do require some attention before they can be played. So this video will be useful to anyone who may not be experienced or familiar with violins and may perhaps have simply bought the instrument as a gift for a person who is learning.

Alternatively, it may be that you are buying the instrument for yourself and are simply curious to see if such a cheap instrument can in fact be playable and of some use. That is exactly why I purchased the instrument, as I need an acoustic/electric violin to play at open air events where the weather may not be predictable and it would not be advisable to take an expensive instrument.

I have segmented the video as it is rather lengthy, but I felt it was better to cover every aspect in detail to make the video as helpful as possible.
