We discussed the publication of the new report by the American Maritime Partnership on transportation to Hawaii and the reaction against it. We also go into the history of the Jones Act and the situation facing the United States prior to 1920 and how a conflict in Southeast Europe could erupt and eventually drag the US into the war.

We also query the potential for a future scenario to unfold in Southeast Asia and would the nation be able to meet the contingency of a war should China, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines be dragged into a conflict?
