Cannon/Start 2:26 Holeshot/Crash 3:25 First Chokepoint 8:00 Crash 39:45 Pits 40:20 Flag 46:23 This is my first time doing the 100 mile race. I wanted to do well but mostly I wanted to finish. I did the last three 50 mile races and this was going to be my last best chance to do it as I just turned 60. I seemed to be in the mix for the first 40 or so miles but saw less and less fellow racers as time went on. I went down early, just past the Holeshot which temporarily twisted my bars but swept them back a bit for the whole first lap. Big thanks to my Pit Crew, Tim and Theo, they got me back on track and fixed my bars. I'm realizing the importance of constant electrolyte replacement as I didn't cramp up during or after the race. Sore as hell though! I tried to include as many fellow racers in the clips as possible - each person out there has a story... I also tried to share the insane scale of the bike lineup for the start. Hopefully some of you see yourselves.
