This organisation deals with various issues of seniors. Accommodation is one of their services. The organisation have set-up two facilities at Ashoknagar near Habra at N 24 Parganas District, WB.
There wholly bedridden patients, dementia patients, disabled patients are also allowed. Short stay system is also available.
1. UPANTE: Low-cost accommodation for sick elderly on sharing basis. 100% bedridden elderly, dementia, disabled allowed. Short stay for sick allowed. Cost 25000 donation and 12000 per month for permanent membership (TnC). It includes 24 hrs. food, care provider, washing, cleaning of the room, routine medical check-up, birthday celebration, etc.
2. NRIPOBITHI: A Senior Living Accommodation on 110 Katha land where Single room, sharing room, joggers area, temple, lift, library available. Room size 15' x17' with attached bath with western style commode. Couple/single person can stay thre. A Guest room is also available. Sharing room also available. There even sick can be accommodated, but the cost is high in comparison to their other set up. One can stay there for a short period. SHORT STAY IS MANDATORY BEFORE GETTING MEMBERSHIP. Approximate cost: 100% refundable deposit 150000 to 600000. Monthly expense 10000 to 22000 depending upon the area of occupancy, service involved. (TnC). However 24 hrs. food, cleaning of the room, washing of daily usage cloths, routine medical checkup, routine entertainment and birthday celebrations are common to all. AC room available. Guest room available for short stay. Any elderly people can stay from one day to one month on daily payment basis. This accommodation is on 110 katha (5.5 bighas) of land with lift, temple, generator set. Single, sharing, husband and wife stay together.
