This was tested by GoSouthernMD.com using a Pendant and the Second Generation SeQual Eclipse Portable Oxygen Concentrator. We used a patient that is COPD and usually has an 02 reading of around 83% with Oxygen. They must be on 3L per minute sometimes 4L. At 2L/per minute continuous flow they went to 88 standard 7' tubing and cannula and on the Oxymizer Pendant they went to 96 and when we cranked it up to 3L with pendant they went to 98. This theory works and we are proud to now provide a way for people that need more then 3L of Oxygen per minute to be able to use a machine like this.
