*Ingredients:*
1 cup sugar (for caramel)
1/4 cup water
4 large eggs
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

*Instructions:*

1. *Prepare Caramel:*
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water over medium heat.
Stir until sugar dissolves, then let it boil without stirring.
Watch closely until the mixture turns amber in color. Remove from heat and pour caramel into the bottom of your pudding mold or individual ramekins.

2. *Prepare Custard:*
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
Add sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

3. *Assemble and Bake:*
Pour the custard mixture over the caramel in the mold or ramekins.
Place the mold or ramekins in a larger baking dish. Fill the larger dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the pudding mold.

4. *Bake:*
Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes or until the custard is set. You can test by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean when the pudding is ready.
