The involvement of the extremist Popular Front of India (PFI), its political arm Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) and other outfits involved in the recent hijab protests in Karnataka has been alleged in the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha member Praveen Nettar in Dakshina Kannada district.
Karnataka Home Minister Arga Arga Jnanendra alleged that organisations behind the recent hijab protests are the ones responsible for the murder of Hindu activist Praveen. The minister said since the crime happened in a border area, it is possible that assailants could have carried out the act and fled to Kerala.
