BEST campsite in Zimbabwe | Chilojo, Gonarezhou National Park | SafariLife S1E03

Описание: Definitely one of our favourite campsites on the Zimbabwe leg of our three month #safarilife expedition - the Chilojo No. 2 Exclusive Camp in Gonarezhou National Park.

One of only two exclusive camps - spaced about 200m apart, the Chilojo Exclusive Camps are located on the banks of the Runde River with uninterrupted views of the Chilojo Cliffs.

We woke up to beautiful sunrises over the dry river bed, watched elephants walk down for a drink as we sipped on our morning coffee and even had elephants wandering straight past our campsite.

The campsites are wild - with the only facilities being a long drop toilet and a fire pit. No water or electricity is provided - so you have to come prepared.

We visited in October - the hottest month right at the end of the dry season. This meant we could cross the Runde River and enjoy showers at the Chinguli Developed Camp (though this is a hour drive away).
